Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 27, 2026
ElderCareHub uses a small number of first-party cookies, plus one optional analytics cookie that is set only with your consent. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Essential cookies we set
ech_session — your encrypted sign-in session (essential; HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite).
ech_theme — your light/dark theme choice.
ech_locale — your language choice.
ech_household — which of your households is active.
Optional analytics (only with your consent)
With your consent, Google Analytics (gtag.js) sets its _ga cookies on our public marketing and sign-in pages to help us understand visits. If you decline, or before you choose, no analytics runs at all.
Analytics is never loaded inside the signed-in application — pages showing health information are never measured by any third party, and no health information ever reaches analytics.
Your choice is remembered in your browser (local storage key ech_consent). You can change it below at any time.
What we don't use
No third-party advertising cookies, no cross-site trackers, no fingerprinting, and no analytics of any kind on health pages.
You can change your analytics cookie choice at any time. Resetting clears your stored choice; the cookie banner will ask again on your next visit to a public page.
